Project Overview

Project: SMDB, VFD, Active Filter, and MV Panel Installation
Client: Marassi District Cooling Plant (DCP)
Location: Bahrain

Project Description

Arabian International Contracting Co. WLL (AIC) proudly contributed to the Marassi District Cooling Plant (DCP) by supplying and installing a complete suite of advanced electrical panels, including Sub Main Distribution Boards (SMDBs), Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Panels, Active Filter Panels, and Medium Voltage (MV) Panels. Each system was selected and engineered to enhance the plant’s power efficiency, stability, and operational control.

The SMDBs ensure balanced and secure power distribution across critical zones of the cooling facility. Meanwhile, VFD panels provide precise control over motor speeds, optimizing energy use—much like a dimmer switch that adjusts lighting to suit the ambiance. Active filter panels mitigate harmonic distortion, keeping the electrical environment stable and efficient. The MV panels, built to handle higher loads, form the backbone of the plant’s power infrastructure.

Excellence in Execution

This project exemplifies AIC’s strength in delivering comprehensive electrical solutions that are both technically robust and energy-conscious. Through meticulous integration and a strong focus on performance, we’ve helped ensure that the Marassi DCP continues to provide sustainable, uninterrupted cooling services to one of Bahrain’s most prestigious developments.
